Amber is back from Bonnie Scotland

aberdeen xmas lightsWell I’m back and feeling rather festive for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it was snowing on George Street in Edinburgh on Saturday! I was out shopping and there were definitely little snowflakes falling from the sky. I thought this was rather strange as the temperature was quite mild. I looked up and saw that one of the bars had installed a snow machine on the roof which was sending out a lovely sprinkling of sparkly snow! Lovely! Also, I managed to witness the official turn on of the Christmas lights in Aberdeen. I wish I had brought my camera to capture the festivities – it was great to see everyone in good spirits as they watched the parade.

None of my guys turned up in a kilt BUT I was visited by a solider AND a fireman both in uniform – aren’t I a lucky lady! They definitely got some extra special Amber attention. And then to top it off, I paid an outcall escort visit to an Edinburgh hotel which just so happened to be accommodating the Fiji Rugby team. I managed to accidentally on purpose get myself in a lift with about five of the handsome fellas! Yum!

Sarah Jane and I both loved Aberdeen and the guys I met were all lovely. We ended our trip with a delicious lunch and a glass of something sparkling at the Foyer Restaurant at His Majesty’s Theatre - we will definitely be back next year.

The only disappointment of my trip was that I didn’t manage to bag a pair of Jimmy Choo for H&M shoes. The collection went on sale in store at 9am on Saturday morning. So there was Amber dutifully waiting outside the Edinburgh store to be told that Jimmy Choo was only available in the Glasgow one! I would have loved to have bagged these beauties. And I REALLY needed a new pair of shoes (honest). Boo hoo!amber jimmy choo
